I have the perspective of having attending St Lawrence College in 2008 for business admin and again in 2023 for the BBA. The first time I found it to be a good experience and it helped me find my first job which got me started on my career. My more recent experience, terrible.

I came back in 2023-2024 to improve my skills and I'm shocked at the state of the college. The teachers that have been at the college for some time are knowledgeable and have experience in the field you study. The new staff they are hiring were for the most part, completely unqualified to teach their subjects. Had some of them no call no show for classes.

The admin staff are completely unhelpful. My advice on dealing with them is to assume they are going to screw up and plan accordingly. They refuse to take any responsibility for their mistakes and will nickel and dime you to death. They can't even manage the simple task of registering students into the courses they requested instead giving you worthless electives you rated as a 1 for interest.

SLC has also switched to taking in significant foreign students to pad their bottom line. It's become clear they want to go the diploma mill route which is extremely disappointing from a community college and it also reduces the perceived value of the programs from which you graduated.

The facilities aren't bad but again, I saw no improvement from the 12 year gap in which I attended the college.

Overall my advice would be to steer clear if you can. If you do attend be ready to have to fight for yourself because the staff will do everything in its power to throw up road blocks for your success. Good luck to anyone that chooses to attend.

Great campus, green place. The college has many indoor games and outdoor play areas. It has a huge reading all and library and a food court which connects to almost all wings in the premise.
It’s build under one roof so there’s no need to exit and re-enter to be in a particular part of the college.
Residency is next to the acad building and the college has indoor gym, but no swimming pool.
There are an enormous parking areas and a transfer point for all city buses near the main gate.

Great location. Beautiful campus.
I love the college prep program that I am currently taking. I plan on taking social work in September. Because I am 37 I was a little nervous about taking the program but thanks to this free program I am definitely ready for September.

Professors don't care, they treat students like children instead of adults paying for an education. Forcing group assignments, ice breaker activities, wasting people's time. It's shameful. They waste people's time and money. I wouldn't recommend anybody to spend their time and money on this place, I got a better education in public school. Most of the professors are lazy and put in so little effort for these students, all they do is split students off into groups so they can have pointless discussions about the incredibly small amount of actual education they are recieving, like they are kids in primary school. it's disgusting and I can't believe I gave this money grabbing scam of an institution my money.
