So far they've been able to help me with every problem I've had. I've only taken a few classes so far, but all of my professors have been great. Especially my Spanish professor, Dr. Gil makes learning so much fun. I would highly reccomend this professor if you decide to take Spanish to fulfill your language requirements.

I chose this college due to its proximity to my home. This site was once a prison in the past during the 1950's that history has been blocked out of memory by its little documentation. I'm curious if the same owners of the prison still own this place today. When you go to the office, I've experienced staff that greet you with "what do you want? Not the best greeting when your a paying customer/prospective student. A lot of the staff is very helpful and sincere. Financial aid hasn't updated their voicemail since last summer, let alone answer the phone during working hours, I find myself calling to the main campus in Palatka to seek help, which in my opinion, overall, are more helpful than this OP campus. The student mental health counselor will schedule an appointment for two months in to the future when you seek mental health assistance. I want to complain more in depth though I will hold my reservations in fear of retailiation. I would suggest if you can find a better school, go for it, this may not be your best choice. I edited my review from two to four stars out of respect and in an effort to be kind in 2024. I'm grateful for the experience and I don't want to be the pessimist. This is a place of higher learning and I have been expanding my mind here all my life so there is hope, even for me.

If I am able to put zero start will be great. My son registered and we paid for his entire registration on December 3, when it was January 8, all his classes were canceled. He had to sign up for new classes and took his first class the next day. The next day of school he could not attend because his classes were canceled again without any type of notification. I don't understand how after paying everything in full according to the system, my son's classes are canceled twice. No one can help and the person who could help after answering the phone once does not answer, this person's name is Shyla. Super professional to cancel classes without notification. If the administrative service is like that, I don't know what education is like. call more than 5 times, they make you wait and no one can solve it. Do not enroll your children in this college, do not even do it for yourself. Personal recommendation losing $1000 is not pleasant at all

They lack in the selection of courses. Then when you can find a course you want to take they are only taught at a different campus ?
But I went ahead and I requested information twice. Never heard back either time. If that’s how they treat potential students I can only imagine how they treat their actual students.

I’ll take my money someplace else.

I went here for 1 semester, it's a scam. Out of the 4 classes I took I only had one great teacher, I swear the other 3 this was a part time job. They tack on so many extra cost to make money off you. This community college is not even good enough to be called a community college. College of scams

I’m a transfer student at SJRSC from FSCJ and I really like it so far. I was accepted into both nursing programs but I chose SJR because their program seems better overall. My interaction with everyone so far has been very nice as well.

I loved all of the classes that I took here. I didn't like that the guidance office didnt make me aware that I didn't have all of my A.A. classes completed when I was in there initially asking about that. It took me an extra semester to get my A.A. due to that. The financial aid service here is awesome.
