Do not attend. This school does not have their students’ best interest in mind. I moved across the country for this school based on what the layout and requirements were. Once I started school none of it was true. Next, the financial aid office is impossible to get ahold of over phone or email. They also messed up my tuition multiple times. I live in Chattanooga, and it got so bad that I would leave four or five voicemails (never getting a response to any of them) and I had to make the two hour drive several times just to get the financial aid office to help me. I attended the nursing program and I had teachers and the dean single me out due to having a speech impediment. I missed one clinical due to a major family emergency and they failed me for that whole quarter even after providing every piece of proof that they asked for. I was also told that I would not be a good nurse because they thought I was lying. Not to mention, I was singled out on multiple occasions just because I was the only male student in my class and had lots of inappropriate comments made toward me by both professors and peers. They also told students that they try to get people to not pass to make their nclex pass rate higher. Save your money and find a different school, this one is not worth the price.

Everyone was caring and helpful getting me set up for classes and financial aide, but once enrolled It can be difficult to reach someone over the phone regarding concerns. I suggest always contacting your academic advisor they will guide you throughout your entire process Taylor has been wonderful. All instructors are different, but never hesitate to email with any questions or concerns. This school has helped change my life and I would recommend anyone that’s serious about their future to enroll if I can do it so can you.

I enrolled in South College for their RN program. Initially in financial aid I asked for a rough estimate on how much I'd have to plan to pay out of pocket after exhausting my cell grants. I was given an estimate of $8K-$11K. I also asked if my credits would transfer to which i was told absolutely! So I enrolled, I completed my 1st year of classes and after that was informed I'd still need to plan for $30,000 private loan to cover the remainder! This is a huge difference in pricing that I was originally posted, not to mention I had already completed about a year! so your telling me you charge almost $50K total for an Associate RN degree! that's insane! Also none of my courses will transfer! South college runs on a 10 week term course, versus 12, so I will have to start all over again elsewhere to get my degree. Had I finished the program, then yes it will transfer with me, but all this money and hardwork this past year was for nothing! Paying $50K + for an ADN is insane! Beware do your research. they told me what they needed to get me enrolled and then everything changed, I now wasted alot of time & money. I do not recommend

I wish I could give 0 stars or negative. This is the worst school I have ever seen or attended. They are so money hungry and kept adding more “tuition” I had to pay and now saying I owe $10k through grants I was told I wouldn’t have to pay back. Mind you I did all online classes and the professors don’t do lectures or teach. You have to teach yourself. So tell me how I’m 10k in debt for 9 months of pre reqs and they wanted me to sign an 54k tuition cost for a program I wasn’t even attending yet. The financial aid office is a joke, they are never there to help you, they avoid your phone calls/emails, and when they do answer you it’s the same generic message with NO help! Avoid this school at ALL costs. It was the worst decision I ever made!

As someone currently attending here, i enjoy the classes, especially because it’s fast-pace and has online flexibility - i’m a parent. The only downside is *after* you enroll here, barely anyone answers their phones to answer necessary questions. If you write an email, you *might* get a response within 4 days. In my experience, before committing to this college, i always got instant answers to my calls and emails. That didn’t change until I committed. Then again, i’m not sure how busy everyone’s schedule’s are and maybe new comers are the priority (which could make sense, they have much more to set up for newcomers compared to us currently enrolled.) I try to keep that in consideration. If you’re considering this college, I’d suggest doing extensive research, not just asking employees what to expect - look into Reviews, Reddit, Etc.

This college isn’t bad, at least not in my experience thus far, but there may be better if you’re majoring in something that other colleges can offer. Keep your options open before 100% committing!

Just finished my Pharmacology course and I must say I had the most caring, knowledgeable, and active professor in all of my collegiate experience! Professor Emily Craven didn’t miss a beat! Some professors are simply in a position to carry out a role and complete tasks! Professor Craven was beyond that for the entire course! When we ran into technical issues, she went beyond simply sending an email. She sent out a link to a recorded video addressing the concerns! She reminded us of due dates weekly! She made a very information dense course enjoyable!! Indians like Professor. Raven deserves to know the impact they make in the lives of others! South College needs to recognize the gem they have and how much of an asset her presence is within their organization!
