Hi my name is Diallo, I am a guinean student.
I applied since mid-December 2021 and it's been almost two months now I haven't received my admission for the English preparatory course, and I am not receiving any information about my admission.
And if my admission comes late I won’t be able to apply for the visa in time.

The management and convocation of this college seriously need some work. They charge a ton of money but responsibility toward students is none. And get this, they're super strict about punctuality during convocation. If you're even a minute late, they won't let you in. It's like they don't realize how important this moment is for the students. It's just causing unnecessary stress and disappointment. They have to wait outside the building for entire time. This is the worst convocation I have ever seen in any college.

Easily the worst educational experience I've ever had. A diploma mill that only exists to provide international students with a PGWP, and with absolutely no standards.

1. Their claims of a diverse student body is false, unless by diverse they mean "no white people". In my first term, 90% of students were from India. Worse yet, many do not speak English at an academic level, and a few don't speak English at all, making me wonder how they got in.

2. Both teachers and students know that the students are only there for PR and PGWP, so they don't care about the education. Many students openly cheat, exchanging answers in group messages, using AI, and even talking DURING exams. Teachers either don't want to ruin their lives, or the school pressures them to be lenient. I know one teacher who gave students zero for AI use, only to be forced to give them another chance despite the official "zero tolerance" policy towards cheating.

3. Their student ambassadors are only there for a certificate, not because they care. I've had someone kicked out of the learning commons because the ambassadors wanted to have a pizza party, despite this student attending an online class at the time. If you're not from India or Nigeria, chances are that they will ignore you. I attended one event, and I was basically left on my own as the ambassadors hung out with their regular friends they invited along.

4. The "education" is bad too. Some teachers are qualified and clearly care, but some don't even teach what's on the syllabus. I wonder if it's because they expect the students to cheat anyway, so they don't care what they teach. This makes it difficult for people who want to take professional exams like the CHRP, because they were not taught the correct material.

5. Their PR team is so obnoxious. They offer students gift cards in exchange for online reviews, even if the student has only been there for one week. They make students wait outside the job fair hall because they wanted footage of students flooding into the room. They jump in to interrupt employers for PR interviews even when the employers were talking to students.

6. The worst part: not only does having a Niagara college diploma or certificate not help with the job search, NCT's reputation is so bad that it negatively impacts your resume. It's become a well-known diploma mill that preys on international students, and even those with honest intentions to study have to suffer for the school's lack of standards.

Niagara College Toronto clearly caters to international students who want an easy 1-2 year PGWP course. If you're serious about self improvement or education, look elsewhere.

This is the 3rd class college, they just need money from students. They don’t have any facilities for students, no one knows how to help the students in any technical issues. People are working in college don’t have enough knowledge about their job , they need proper staff. I have issues with my college portal from last 4 months, no one knows how to help , staff don’t have enough information how to help in that situation. If i miss my exam because of this who will the responsible…. Is it me!!!

This college just need money, they don’t consider what students are going through even it costs their life. I got health issues after joining this issue and the management is so poor they target students if you address any concern even after reporting to the director. Please don’t play with students life, it costs entire family life time savings to get better education for their children. Government flagged with college for good.

Worst college ever. Destroying the most important time of student’s life. After spending 36k and studying 2 years then didn’t allow students to attend graduation just because they were a little late. Had the worst experience here that a student can have.

In 3rd semester, I was suffering from dental pain due to that I was unable to attend two or three classes of Managerial Accounting also did not gave the test in person. I did one test from home but the professor mark me absent and give me zero. Now I failed that course. I tried to contact the professor many a times but nothing happened. On the very last minute he said now nothing is in my hand i gave the grades to the college. As per required information I put appeal with my all Medical reports. Now they are not giving a response to me like what’s the decision. I’m now in great trouble and even in more stress. And I called in college about my decision, still they are saying, we cannot do anything just email to academic of college. This is totally unacceptable and biased. Worst college I have ever seen.

I earned my Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management(one year )in 2023 from Niagara College Toronto, an experience marked by invaluable learning and dedicated professors who supported me through ups and downs. The college's respectful treatment of students, efficient management, and a responsive student services team made my journey commendable. Regrettably, I had to enroll in another college for Jan intake 2024 due to early closure at Niagara. I kindly request Niagara College management to enhance communication about upcoming intake admission deadlines, enabling a seamless transition for students into their second programs.
