It isn't a high school I recommended... The staff is horrible and hardly anyone knows how to teach correctly. Hardly anyone helps you, and the only thing the staff cares about in this school is getting paid. The counselors will not assist you with anything, nor will they care about your needs. The amount of work is overwhelming to so many students. I've known many of them who have stayed up until the morning doing nonsense assignments the teachers handed out. None of the students seem to know what manners are, and many of them cannot keep up with the amount of work. Many can't even follow what is being taught to them. It may have been fine a few years ago, but a lot has changed. As someone who has only gone a year to this terrible place, I can say only this: Any parent that loves their child wouldn't put them in this place.

Very good school. The magnet makes you feel as if you were a part of another family other than home. The magnet has many things to offer. BEST SCHOOL EVER!!!!!!!!! Would recommend to everyone

No High School is perfect. Let's get that clear. Unless it's private school we're talking about. But anyway, I mean, what can I say? This was the last hurdle that I had to leap over in order to have an easier chance at life. Sure, the last 4 years have been, *ahem* mixed. But in the end, I will never forget my time here. It was the final opportunity to have a great time, and enjoy the leisure of not having to pay for school stuff. However, I must point out that cleanliness is absent, drug-prohibition is lacking, and the culture that very few teachers available try to shove at us is miniscule. When I return here for the reunion, I want to see that Ibach reads these reviews, and realize that the school she's running can improve, drastically.

Awesome school graduated there in 86. Great new and old staff that are very dedicated to students learning and becoming the best they can! Grant will be going through some very exciting changes in the next few years.

Now Grant is the home of the world famous Plant Manager: Joe "The Pro" !!!!

The school is great, teachers are amazing i love my school, the teachers are so supportive, i came to the USA and attended school in 2015 with fear that im going to be an outsider, but with the great treatments from the teachers and the consolers i felt home the teachers and all the staff became like a family to me, i did not speak any english at all when i came two years ago and with the help of all the teachers im now taking honors and AP classes and graduating one year earlier, the school is just so amazing, the Magnet program is great, and all the staff are great and i feel so lucky that i attended this school, and i feel bad that I'll leave it soon. GO LANCERS ❤️?

I've spent all my four years of high school here at Grant and I honestly think this school is amazing. The magnet program at Grant is unbelievable as the teachers are off the charts and the program gets the students ready for college. I suggest attending Grant High School.

Graduated 1971. They said 10 yrs. would go by fast - what about 40! Looking back the instruction was average. As with many public schools, could have better connected the relevancy to future applications. Of course when you're 16 you have a lot more on your mind than school.

I thought I got away from the "hidden camera" issue from my last school. However, this one was worse. There were cameras in the urinals and toilets. Sometimes my teachers made me stay several hours after class, alone in the room with them. I switched schools again for junior year.
