Really caring and supportive college.Impressed how they developed my son to achieve top grades in his chosen subjects. He wasn’t doing this at GCSE.Relaxing and safe learning environment. Thanks to Franklin, he now has the chance to go to his chosen university to complete a degree apprenticeship if he wishes. Was considering Grimsby Institute after Year 11, but so glad we didn’t and chose Franklin instead. Helpful and supportive from day 1 until the end of the second year. WELL DONE FRANKLIN , OUTSTANDING ! THANK YOU ?

Borderline ruined my life. Teachers that either pick on/humiliate you openly or don't care (minus one that has already left). Bad anxiety and depression made worse by the entire place. No support, no listening, no help. Disgusting people.

Worst college about, they don't care about the vulnerable students especially students with learning disabilities they just kick them out for other colleges to sort out without having any meetings with a parent. It claims to prioritise special needs children. But from experience it really does not!

I've received loads of support at franklin and gone from mediocre grades at GCSE to straight A's. It has a great working environment and good teachers. My only criticism is that they need more free use computers for private study and the staff turnover for some subjects is not good. Otherwise have loved my 2 years at franklin and I'm sad to leave.

This college claims to teach photography, I have an hour with a second year student who doesn't even know how to use Photoshop for retouching, but they have been told to use it, this college is a sham.

If you want to get taught actual skills go to Grimsby institute. Rant over...

If you have any struggles, speak to friends rather than the service because they'd just try to send you home instead of actually working on the problems. Otherwise, not a bad college with some good facilities and a lot of pasionate teachers.

Bit of a shame to see so many negative comments seeing as my experience was quite enjoyable here, however I can't say I'm surprised, since the new head is more focused on building walls to stop people seeing his office. Bit strange for someone who's meant to be SERVING the students wants privacy all of a sudden. Hmmmm...
Bring back Trevor.
