Have to agree with the last poster Matt. This place has been a magnet for India and has really been to the detriment of our local landscape. Time to get back to supporting the local people and their families!

Use to be a well respected college in the area but now it has just turned itself into a diploma mill for internationals taking away chances for Canadians . People use to rave how well this college was many years ago but not so much now

Such a ridiculous management!!! They have no idea how to organize convocations. The management sucks in this college. So many parents of all the international students were not allowed inside the hall as they had the entire space packed up. No organization on how many people are allowed and no one was given a prior notice that there is certain limit. They overcrowded people and made these parents see the entire thing virtually like whats the point flying from across the country and not being able to see your kid graduate. HIGHLY SUGGEST RATHER GO TO AN ORGANIZATION WHO KNOW HOW TO MANAGE AND ARE EQUAL TO EVERYONE. THIS PLACE SUCKS, GREEDY PEOPLE JUST WORKING FOR THE MONEY COMING FROM INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS?

Worse experience, College had policies during covid era where they have taken my whole 1 semester fees and got no diploma as visa got rejected in second sem, It has affected my 10000 CAD which was nightmare for me to get it back. tried a lot but university didnot refund.

I really hate this college. I got health issues and on that time college does not care about me. I lose my placement because of my health and they gave me zero support and said sorry we can’t do anything. I pay you for my studies, if you can’t do anything then why you said before that don’t worry about placements, take care of your health. It’s nothing for you, you just forget in days but these Fake promises ruined my life.

They don't know what they're doing. Took their Computer Systems Technician course 2021-2022 and it was absolutely awful. They couldn't find a professor for a course because of their whole "get vaccinated or else" rule (which btw they let some students continue their education without a vaccine but told me I had to get vaccinated or I couldn't join). There was only 3 maybe 4 professors that actually cared. The rest you could tell were only there for their $80/hr - 10 hrs a week paycheque (true story we found their indeed posting for our one class). Would cancel classes sometimes up to an hour or less before the class started, or while we're outside the classroom waiting for the professor to show up only to find out their not. There was no communication at all. Their excuse was covid but give me a break it had been going on for almost 2 years by that point. The nail in the coffin for me was hearing from a coworker their great experience taking the security investigations program (at the same time). He's getting field trips, trade shows, placement, consistency in his program and we couldn't even get dedicated professors for our program. For a school of "Applied Arts and Technology" they sure can't get their IT program together. Absolute waste of a year of my life, and money. I can't even imagine what issues the international students of that class/year were dealing with. Oh but atleast they gave us $200 back to students because of covid lockdowns and not being able to go into the school much to make use of our parking pass, so that's cool I guess.
I cannot recommend Loyalist to anyone, you're gambling with the quality of the programs, classes, and the quality of your education.
