This is for the Dental Clinic. After almost 10 years without dental care due to a lack of insurance, I was in need of a cleaning, at the very least. I gave my time and in return I received comprehensive dental care by students under the direct supervision of Dentists and practicing Dental Hygienists. I saved thousands of dollars but the results are the same. The students and staff were very professional and compassionate. I will absolutely be returning in the fall for my next cleaning!

Both of my kids started here when they were each 16 years old and they each have had a great experience. Through a 24-credit program, my son completed his senior year of high school and his freshman year of college all at once. He continued on to graduate with his Associates degree, then transferred to SUNY Albany, where he will graduate with his Bachelors degree next term.

My daughter started her freshman year at HVCC and will graduate with her Associates degree this term.

The cost savings of community college along with the benefit of taking their first year or two to really figure out what they wanted to do before spending big bucks at a highly-priced University, definitely made a lot of sense to us. I'm so glad we took this route and I highly suggest more parents and students look into this option. Especially if you don't want a hefty student loan to pay back!

HVCC has grown tremendously throughout the years. It's so much more than just a community college... with unlimited learning opportunities and enriching life experiences, the possibilities are endless!

Collage is a joke. Books are 4x the amount they should be on AVERAGE. Most professors recommended most of my friends to straight drop out because they needed help. To top it all off a quarter of the degrees are worthless unless you already have a job lined up from a recommendation.

The staff that operates and maintains this campus is excellent. Our company services a few hundred sites in NYC and the surrounding area and HVCC's staff is by far some of the best I hae had the privilege to work with!

My wife went to school here for the nursing program and the professors don’t care to help you when you need it and basically tell you to drop out. You learn completely out of a textbook and are expected to memorize everything. Don’t join this nursing program if you value your sanity.

Professors encourage you to drop the classes instead of helping you. And the advisors have literally no clue what they are doing. On three separate occasions, I have either been minsformed about classes I need to take or signed up for classes I already took.

Professors are great. Discount movie tickets. I took chemical dependency and Brian Farr is by far the best professor I have ever had. He is invested in his position and very passionate about the field. The campus is designed nicely and classes are priced fairly. Highly recommend.
