After hurricane Milton passed through Port Charlotte we called our previous AC service that told is months before they could even schedule us. 5 Star air came in less than a week. Their service tech, Antonio was prompt, very thorough, and professional. We were truly impressed. We are now customers of 5 Star Air. Thank you!

Although I was not the person getting the services from this company I was part of the process of finding a company that can help my friend Joan. We went through 4 companies trying to take advantage of our lack of knowledge and sell us Unnecessary equipment and upsell us. Then Matt came and it was a totally different experience he was the perfect example of what it lacking in this honesty, compassion, considerate, and reasonable his pricing was no nonsense and much lower than the rest and I knew he would do an above and beyond job. 5 Star Air is doing it right! It’s obvious the owners are committed to honesty, transparency, and quality. The techs/installers are real pros, no BS sales pitch guys. I swapped out a 14 year old Rheem unit for a new Rheem 2.5T 14 seer. The install was efficient and done right, for the right price. From the office communication to the billing, every aspect was as you’d hope start to finish. Quality company and quality people all around!

5 Star Air responded to our needs immediately - we were up north when we learned our air conditioner stopped working. 5 Star came out to the house within 24 hours, diagnosed the problem, provided us with a portable unit in an effort to keep our temperature and humidity under control and gave us all the information we needed to research a new unit without any pressure from the company. We chose a new unit and it was installed within days. The Florida temps and humidity were about as high as they could get yet because of the timelines of 5 Star Air we did not have any issues in our condo. We highly recommend their office staff, technicians, their honestly and fair prices when you are in need of a new air conditioning system. We also use them throughout the year and have a service contract to keep our system in top notch condition.

Thank you 5 Star Air! Two days without AC and we were panicky. I called 5 Star Air this morning and had cold air flowing in the house by the end of business. Jesse was an amazing professional. The communication with the office was excellent.

I definitely need to write about this "5 Star" company, I invited them to send a technician to test my ice cream machine and my first experience was very disappointing on the phone with their company, their presentation in communication was not well, I even told him my name 3 times and he still didn't write it well, but I don't want to stop there. Even worse was my experience with their professionalism, their technician came at 3:03 pm, he checked the ice cream machine very quickly and came to the conclusion that the compressor needs to be replaced, I wondered how a new compressor it breaks so quickly, but still I accepted it so that they send me a quote, he left the place from me at 3:26 pm, he only stayed and go for 23 minutes while the 5 Star company charged me $318, while a day later I received their offer for replacing the compressor at the astronomical price of $7,179 + $440 refrigerant. Of course I refused their offer. But what is surprising is that the compressor did not need to be replaced because a technician from another company came the next day and fixed it for only $280 because the problem was very simple and in 15 minutes He fixed it and now my ice cream machine works very well . Definitely you don’t deserve 5 stars, from me today you have 0 star and my assessment for you is that you are not honest, I will not recommend this company to anyone.

We highly recommend 5 Star Air. They were professional, knowledgeable, respectful of our home, and patiently answered all of our questions on the options for our AC replacement. We felt confident throughout the decision making process on such a big investment and have been extremely satisfied with the work done in our home and the performance of our system. We are so grateful to have finally found an AC company we can trust

Update June 2022: we receive regular maintenance services for our AC and continue to be impressed by the ease of scheduling appointments and the knowledgeable and professional technicians.

Update August 2024: A lizard had an unfortunate day in some of the electrical components - our house was hot in a hurry. We are SO grateful for the consistent prompt and reliable services from 5 Star Air.
