I crossed paths with Beau J and learned he was a piano teacher. I explained how my teenage son had always seemed musically inclined, but did not feel that the lessons he was taking through a studio were helping him to progress. I was curious to learn about Beaus opinion that my son had not learned any theory or how to read music but could sound out songs he was interested in. Beau explained that in order to advance a student must ultimately learn to read the music but that there are strategies to incorporate doing so while keeping the student interested. I had anticipated my son would probably stop taking lessons since he seemed to be losing interest gradually. And as any parent of a teenager knows, there's no convincing them. But after exploring Beaus website /listening to him play the piano and discovering just how extremely talented Beau is, my son agreed to try out lessons with him. To top it off Beau is so easy to talk to, warm, welcoming, charismatic has a contagious laugh and is an awesome role model. My son always comes out of lessons in a more positive mood than he went in with. I asked my kiddo what he would write about his music teacher and he wrote this: "I highly recommend my piano teacher to anybody looking for a teacher who is kind, encouraging, and patient. He creates a supportive environment where mistakes are opportunities to learn and progress is celebrated. Beau has made my piano journey a very enjoyable experience." It's obvious how overly qualified Beau is to be teaching music lessons as he is a naturally born and gifted musician

Beau Juenemann is an outstanding piano instructor. Our son took beginner lessons as a child, but has made amazing progress after returning to instruction with Beau during the COVID year and since as a teen. Beau is highly motivated, enthusiastic, and patient, and our son has expanded his repertoire of classical pieces beyond his original expectations. Beau even helps us with piano selection for our home and his portable keyboard that he'll be taking to college. We recommend signing up for hour-long lessons!
