It is a good bilingual school with 50% English and 50% French. Both my children has studied there for 6 years. In my opinion, primary school need some improvements in terms of syllabus in some subjects especially in Science and English. I found secondary school was good compared to primary in terms of syllabus and clarity on what children are learning. Music is one thing that need lot of improvement in my opinion as my children did not get any benefit/learning either in singing or instruments even after they passed 6 years in the school and have attended all music lessons.

After a year
That has passed since both of my kids attended the school I finally found the courage to express my Opinion about the school.
If I could go back in time I would had moved forward with a lawsuit I was advised to at the same time last year. My kids attended both campuses. The issues at primary were minor
( head teacher wasn’t speaking English, uninterested in non French speakers, chaos with substitutes).
However, in secondary there were serious issues going on with teachers and kids. To the extent that certain were kicked out only after the situations escalated and became serious for the reputation the school. But all the issues were going on for a long time and as usually happens in France were pushed under the carpet. My daughter is in therapy for the past year due to the bullying she experienced from teachers and kids. The school had unfit teachers (plenty of emails in my Inbox to prove it) and kids that were let to act as they pleased because it is a private small school. The bottom line is that my daughter SUFFERED serious trauma due to the school, she was attacked by a teacher and her child, and the child’s group of buddies.
No one has any true interest in the kids well being, as long as parents don’t raise the issues and go along with the school every thing is great once you start pointing out the issues then you become a problem. The tuition is more important than the child it self and the parents.

Not a good environment for children.

We made the mistake of putting our son in this school for nine months. We left with the impression the Head was not a woman we could trust. She would say one thing and do another and the programs were not what was promised.

The teachers changed often and sometimes without explanation, nobody seemed to know what was going on. Some of the parents said the art teacher was 'touchy'.

We are happy to be away from this place and our son is much better prepared at his new school.

Kingsworth Bilingual Primary School offers a bilingual education in French and English. All the students take are taught in an even split of 50% English and 50% French. The school caters for children aged between 5 and 11 years, of any nationality, and applies the English and French national programmes tailored to the needs of children in a bilingual and international context.

The pedagogical approach takes into account the specific needs of each child and teaching takes place in both group and individual learning environments. The pupils are active in their own learning, within an interactive approach guided by teachers.

Classes are multi-national and taught in both English and French, with equal weight given to each language. The school is unique in that pupils not only learn a second language but also learn in that language, through full immersion.
